After leading crews, growing Nolan Pools, and training technicians through pool equipment repair training, Matt launched Prairie Pool to bring a quality focused, client-first approach to the region. Today, we continue to build custom retreats that reflect each homeowner’s vision-delivered with care, clarity, and trust.

Learning the Trade

Before launching Prairie Pool & Patio, Matt Nolan began his journey as a construction foreman in central Arkansas. From managing crews to mastering the technical stages of excavation pool work, Matt developed the hands-on skills that form the backbone of every pool project today. This early foundation gave him deep insight into how quality craftsmanship, clear timelines, and consistent communication shape great outdoor spaces.

Matt began his career in central Arkansas as a construction foreman, where he gained firsthand experience managing crews and mastering the technical demands of pool construction. These early years laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the craft, from excavation to final finishes.
Industry-leading expertise
After helping grow Nolan Pools into one of Arkansas’ largest builders, Matt joined Pentair—the global leader in pool equipment—as a Territory Service Manager. Over the next decade, he travelled extensively, troubleshooting complex systems and training professionals across the region. This gave him unmatched insight into both the technical and service sides of the industry.

There, he traveled extensively, training professionals across the region in pool equipment repair training and complex system diagnostics. This experience gave Matt a rare combination of technical knowledge and field experience, setting him apart from many other pool builders in Arkansas. At Prairie Pool, this expertise ensures each project is built to perform beautifully and last for years.

Drawing from decades of experience, including leadership roles at Nolan Pools, Matt created a company defined by a quality focused, client-first philosophy. As a local pool builder, Prairie Pool stands out through its personalized approach, turning everyday backyards into tailored retreats.
